We are here to Help Farmers and Ranchers Maximize Tax Savings by Unlocking the Value Beneath Your Feet:

At Legacy Verified, we are always looking for new ways to help America's farmers and ranchers strengthen their operations. That's why we're excited to partner with Boa Safra Ag, bringing producers an innovative opportunity to potentially increase tax savings while gaining valuable insight into their soil.

This program is much more than a soil test - it's an investment in your operation that can provide agronomic data, support long-term land management, and help uncover significant tax advantages available under the U.S. tax code.

Professional Soil Sampling You Can Trust

When you enroll through Legacy Verified, one of our trusted and knowledgeable team members will try and personally complete your soil sampling when geography allows. Our team understands agriculture because we live it every day. We collect samples using Boa Safra Ag's approved process to ensure accurate, consistent results while making the experience simple and convenient for you.

What Your Soil Analysis Includes

Healthy soil is the foundation of every successful farming and ranching operation. Boa Safra Ag's comprehensive analysis evaluates the nutrients already available in your soil while identifying deficiencies that may impact productivity.

Macronutrients

These are the nutrients plants require in larger quantities for healthy growth:

  • Nitrogen (N)

  • Phosphorus (P)

  • Potassium (K)

  • Sulfur (S)

  • Calcium (Ca)

  • Magnesium (Mg)

Micronutrients

Although required in much smaller amounts, micronutrients play a critical role in plant health and crop performance.

Testing includes:

  • Zinc (Zn)

  • Copper (Cu)

  • Iron (Fe)

  • Manganese (Mn)

  • Boron (B)

  • Molybdenum (Mo)

  • Chloride (Cl)

  • Nickel (Ni)

Phosphorus & Potassium (P&K) Analysis

A dedicated P&K analysis measures the available phosphorus and potassium in your soil.

These nutrients are essential for:

  • Root development

  • Plant vigor

  • Crop production

  • Long-term soil fertility

  • Fertility planning for future growing seasons

Having a complete understanding of your soil helps producers make informed management decisions while supporting the documentation needed for tax planning.

No Land Restrictions After Sampling

One of the biggest advantages of this program is flexibility.

Once your soil has been sampled, there are no restrictions placed on how you use your land. You maintain complete control over your property and farming or ranching practices. Continue grazing livestock, growing crops, rotating fields, or managing your operation exactly as you normally would.

The soil sampling simply documents the existing nutrient profile of your land.

Understanding the Potential Tax Benefits

Boa Safra Ag works alongside qualified tax professionals to help producers and their CPA's understand how certain provisions of the Internal Revenue Code may apply to their operation.

These commonly referenced tax provisions include:

IRC Section 167 – Depreciation

Allows depreciation deductions for qualifying property used in a trade or business.

IRC Section 168 – Accelerated Depreciation

Provides accelerated depreciation methods that may allow producers to recover qualifying costs more quickly.

IRC Section 180 – Fertilizer and Soil Conditioning Expenses

Allows qualifying expenditures for fertilizer, lime, ground limestone, and other soil conditioning practices to potentially be deducted in the year they are incurred.

IRC Section 611 – Depletion

Provides guidance regarding depletion deductions for qualifying natural resources and may apply in situations involving the productive capacity of agricultural land, depending on a taxpayer's specific circumstances.

Every operation is different, which is why professional tax guidance is essential.

Your CPA Meets with Boa Safra Ag's CPA

One of the most valuable parts of this program is the collaboration between professionals.

Boa Safra Ag's Certified Public Accountant is available to consult with your CPA or tax professional to explain the program, provide supporting documentation, and answer technical questions. This helps ensure your tax advisor has the information needed to determine how these tax provisions may apply to your unique operation.

Your trusted CPA remains in control of your tax return while receiving specialized support from Boa Safra Ag's experienced team.

Audit Support

One of the biggest advantages of working with Boa Safra Ag is the experienced support that comes with the program. Their dedicated CPA support team works directly with you and your tax professional to help determine the best timing for utilizing your soil nutrient deductions based on your individual tax situation.

Boa Safra Ag also provides comprehensive audit support. Participating in the program does not trigger an IRS audit. However, if you are ever audited, their experienced team is available to help provide the documentation, guidance, and technical support needed throughout the process.

With a proven track record, Boa Safra Ag has assisted more than 12,000 customers nationwide, including operations with tax deductions ranging from $1 million to $46 million. Their expertise and ongoing support help give landowners confidence that they have a knowledgeable team standing behind them every step of the way.

Investment and Potential Return

Enrollment is $40 per acre, and that enrollment cost is generally considered a business expense that may also be tax deductible. As always, consult your CPA regarding your individual tax situation.

Many participating producers have reported an average estimated tax benefit of approximately $1,700 per acre, although actual results vary based on each producer's financial situation, tax liability, acreage, and eligibility.

Because every operation is unique, individual results cannot be guaranteed.

Enroll All Your Acres or Build a Long-Term Strategy

Every operation has different goals.

Some producers choose to enroll all of their qualifying acreage at one time to maximize the opportunity immediately.

Others, particularly large agricultural landowners, may find it beneficial to enroll portions of their acreage over multiple years. This strategy can help create ongoing opportunities for annual tax planning while spreading participation over time.

Your CPA can help determine which approach best fits your financial goals.
