Request for Service

The Basic Process

Program Enrollment:

1. Choose your program(s). One you submit the below form, a friendly LV staff member will call you to discuss your best options.

2. The LV staff member will send you an Application for Service. We can also complete this with you over the phone, if you prefer. This is to make sure you qualify for the program(s) you are interested in so we do not waste any of your time or money!

3. LV will send you a contract - it is a very standard contract to set expectations and fee schedules - and we send it through Docusign for a no-hassle signature!

Verification Process:

1. Legacy Verified will assign a highly competent and professional verification specialist who will call and schedule you for your offsite or onsite verification (based on the program(s) you have selected).

2. Following the verification, a Level II Reviewer with Legacy Verified will review the information collected during the verification.

3. The Level II Reviewer will determine the approval status based on all of the information collected and will issue you your approval documents at the time of approval - nothing to worry about later at shipping time!

Offsite & Onsite Verification Details

Offsite Verifications (Ranches Only) participating in SAV, Verified Born in The USA, and LV Angus (or a combo of each) (SAV required at minimum):

• Application

• Contract Agreement

• 15-20 minute phone and records verification with one of our Verifiers

• Approval documents sent at time of approval (Certificate, Shipping Form, PCT Tag List (if applicable)

Onsite Verifications - All Ranches participating in Legacy Natural, NHTC, and China Verified and all Feedyards, Calf Ranches, and Dairies:

• Application

• Contract Agreement

• Onsite Visit with one of the LV Verifiers in your region to verify:

  • Records, cattle, facility, feed, and basic day-to-day activities based on the program(s) selected​

• Approval documents sent at time of approval (Certificate, Shipping Form, PCT Tag List)

  • LV manages all EID tag data (confidentially)​
