Sam began his long career in the cattle business in Cholame working on the family ranch where he managed 600 mother cows and 2,500 head of stockers. Since then he's worked for several central California ranches managing everything from hay to grass. His cattle experience includes every aspect of ranching, ranging from calving to doctoring to shipping and everything in between.

Since 2005 he's worked as a field rep for several sale barns in central California, but covering California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

While he loves a good branding, he's pretty tempted to spend time with his three grandkids (another on the way)!
